Infectious Disease Modeling

1. Overview

This class shows the overview on infectious disease epidemiology methods and gives actual examples of current situation, problems, analytical methods for several infectious diseases including COVID-19 or other pandemics.

In addition, how to control the spread over communities and facilities and how to minimize the effects of such epidemics on the society and facilities, using models from the perspectives of theoretical epidemiology.

本科目は，感染症に関する疫学データ分析方法に関する基礎的知識を概説した上で，COVID-19や新たなパンデミックについての現状・課題・分析方法について，具体的事例を挙げて概説する。

さらに，COVID-19をはじめとする市中や施設内で感染が拡大する感染性疾患をどのようにコントロール（管理）するか，社会や施設への影響をどのように最小化するか，についてモデルを考案し，提示する。
